Luna Trio 26x92 is a sophisticated 3D ThermoWood® cladding crafted from Nordic Pine.
It creates an elegant and timeless batten look for walls and ceilings, and sauna interiors. The knot pattern of the Trio has a softer feel than the Triple, making it the preferred option by most Interior Designers.
What is Thermowood?
ThermoWood® is a trademarked wood material that is manufactured completely without chemicals through a patented thermal modification process. This process involves treating the wood in high temperatures between 180°C to 230°C in a controlled environment. The high temperature alters the chemical and physical properties of the wood, improving its composition and performance. The process increases the durability and stability of the wood, making it more resistant to decay. Thermowood is also less prone to warping, swelling, and shrinking compared to untreated wood, due to reduced moisture content. Additionally, Thermowood offers improved insulation properties as the thermal conductivity of the wood is reduced. In appearance, Thermowood is recognizable by its warm brown tone, which is even throughout the profile.
